Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden

Founded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, this botanical garden is one of the largest tropical botanical gardens in Asia. It is home to more than 13,000 species of tropical plants from around the world. Visitors can stroll through themed gardens, rainforest trails, orchid collections, and giant tropical trees while learning about tropical ecosystems and conservation.

Wild Elephant Valley

Wild Elephant Valley is China's best-known location for observing wild Asian elephants in their natural habitat. Elevated walkways, observation towers, and rainforest trails allow visitors to safely explore the forest while learning about elephant conservation. In addition to elephants, the valley is home to monkeys, hornbills, butterflies, and many other tropical animals.

Manting Park

With a history of more than 1,300 years, Manting Park was once the royal garden of the ancient Dai Kingdom. Visitors can admire beautiful tropical gardens, traditional Dai architecture, peaceful lakes, and Buddhist temples. Evening cultural performances featuring Dai music and dance make the park one of Jinghong's most popular attractions.
